As the Manager of Pricing, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how pricing decisions are made across Roadrunner’s LTL network while leading and developing a high-performing analytical team.
This role is built for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems, working with data, influencing strategy, and building smarter decision systems.
You won’t just oversee pricing execution. You’ll help elevate how pricing thinking happens across the organization.
• Influence real business decisions impacting revenue, margin, and network efficiency
• Lead and develop a highly analytical team
• Help modernize freight pricing through analytics, AI, and smarter systems
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Leadership
• Solve meaningful business problems every day
Lead and Elevate the Pricing Team
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of Pricing Engineers
• Build a culture centered on ownership, analytical thinking, and execution
• Set high standards for quality, responsiveness, and decision-making
Drive Smarter Pricing Decisions
• Oversee pricing recommendations across bids, strategic accounts, and customer initiatives
• Challenge assumptions and improve pricing logic and frameworks
• Balance profitability, volume, and network capacity in pricing decisions
• Translate complex analysis into clear business recommendations
Support Growth and Network Performance
• Partner with Sales, Operations, and Leadership on pricing strategy
• Support bid strategy for customers and 3PL partners
• Identify opportunities to improve margin quality and operational performance
Improve Systems and Analytical Capabilities
• Track pricing performance and decision quality
• Improve tools, workflows, reporting, and automation
• Help evolve pricing systems and operational intelligence across the business
• 5+ years in pricing, logistics, LTL, or analytical commercial roles
• 2+ years of people leadership experience
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities
• Advanced Excel skills (modeling and analysis)
• SQL experience preferred
• Experience working with large datasets and operational systems
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field preferred

• Python or other programming languages
• VBA or automation experience
• Experience improving pricing or revenue management systems

This role requires strong quantitative thinking. If your experience is primarily executing tasks without deeply understanding the data behind them, this role will not be a fit.

Work Environment
• Moderate office noise environment
• Estimated compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 per year
