Pricing & Quoting Senior Analyst - Dynamic Team

Position Summary

This is an exciting, high impact opportunity that gives the candidate the opportunity to partner with senior leaders to identify opportunities for improved scalability, profitability, and execution of our business model. Key areas of responsibility include new business quoting, profitability analysis, variances/invoices, and reporting.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing company’s production costs, including setting and monitoring of standard costs, researching operational variances, and looking for opportunities for improvements and efficiencies.

Help to lead the company’s product pricing, quoting, and financial modeling tools and processes.

Develop strong understanding of the company’s product input costs and play integral role in helping to improve and shape costs through vendor engagement and negotiation.

Monitor and track material costs and purchase price variances for all production inputs.

Develop detailed understanding of COGS including BOM and router development, maintenance, and periodic update.

Leverage collaborative relationships with accounting, business leaders, and executives to identify the right metrics and KPIs to support Sales, Quality, and Operations.

Establish structured processes to analyze and review pricing and profitability at regular intervals as well as on ad hoc basis as needed.

Support company with Ad-hoc financial and operational analyses to ensure timely course correction of Company’s resources.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred but not required.

5-7 years' experience in Accounting or Manufacturing Finance required.

Experience in data analysis, modeling, and/or financial analysis.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of management.

Must have solid mathematical skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, convert English/Metric units, and apply concepts to practical situations.

Ability to organize, prioritize, and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment with internal deadlines.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.

Advanced Excel capabilities and proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.

The salary range for this role is $75,000 – $110,000 annually. Compensation is commensurate with level of knowledge, education, skills, and experience applicable to the position.
