Job Description - Primary Care Physician - $336k ($30k -Sign on bonus)

Primary Care Physician - $336k ($30k -Sign on bonus)

Tazewell, VA

Our client is seeking a Primary Care Physician with preference for Internal Medicine,

Emergency Medicine, or similar specialty to join their team. In this role, you will be

responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients while working both

independently and collaboratively with other members of the correctional facility. This

position requires strong diagnostic, assessment, and treatment skills as well as

excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Primary Care Physician - Duties and Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose patients, order appropriate diagnostic tests, and

prescribe medications

• Develop and manage treatment plans for patients, including preventive

care and health maintenance

• Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses,

tailoring instructions to patients’ individual circumstances

• Refer patients to specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed

• Communicate with other healthcare providers to coordinate quality patient

care

• Keep detailed medical records and document patient care activities

Schedule, Compensation & Benefits

• $232k - $336k, plus sign-on bonus or $60k loan repayment

• Up to $10k student loan repayment

• Full support staff

Requirements

• BC/BE in Family or Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine

• Current Virginia State Medical license or willing to obtain
