Job Description - Primary Care Physician, HIV Medicine (Castro) - Sign-On Bonus Available
The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a certified, or soon to be certified, Internal or Family Medicine Physician who is interested in joining an employer-based One Medical clinic that is committed to changing the care delivery experience for both patients and providers. In this role, you will have a panel of adult patients, with particular focus on providing longitudinal HIV care to our LGBTQI patient community.

What you'll be working on:
Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits with a focus on HIV treatment and prevention
Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
Supervising one or more NP or PA colleagues
Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states
Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:
Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
Proficiency in HIV pathophysiology, treatment protocols, pharmacology, and co-morbidities,
Proficiency in counseling and treatment on HIV prevention strategies (like PrEP)
Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting with a HIV panel of patients
Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
State licensed in California, obtained before your One Medical start date
AAHIVS (HIV Specialist/Expert) certification preferred but not required.

One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The base salary range for this role is $308,700 to $328,000 based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
