Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) – Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Location: Riverside, California
Job Type: Full-Time | Outpatient Only | 40 Hours per Week
Salary: $268,000 to $380,000 per year, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | No Nights or Weekends
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

Position Overview
A respected nonprofit community health center in Riverside, California is seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician (MD or DO) trained in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. This role is outpatient only—no inpatient call, no nights, and no weekends. Join a mission-driven organization that has been serving Southern California’s diverse communities for over 50 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including chronic disease management, preventive screenings, and physicals

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions

• Administer vaccinations and manage patient medications

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging

• Provide prenatal and postnatal care if within training and scope

• Coordinate patient referrals and care transitions

• Complete EHR documentation within 72 hours

• Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health providers, and care coordinators

• Participate in meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives

• Supervise residents or medical students as needed

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

• Active and unrestricted California medical license (required)

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (required)

• Valid DEA registration and current BLS certification (required)

• Bilingual in English and Spanish or Arabic preferred

Compensation

• Family Medicine: $268,000 to $363,000 annually

• Internal Medicine: $281,000 to $380,000 annually

• Monthly performance-based incentive bonus

• Four hours per week of protected administrative time
