Description

  

As a Full-Time Therapist, you will be responsible for a patient caseload and will provide group, individual, and family therapy, conduct bio-psychosocial assessments. You will collaborate with the Treatment Team to formulate the master treatment plan and assist in coordinating discharge planning. The Therapist has primary responsibility for maintaining communication with the family, referral source and other service providers as needed; as well as, act as a liaison with the UR Department on all aspects of patient care.

An ideal applicant will have the ability to assist in monitoring and improving retention of patients for outcomes that support long-term recovery from addiction.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other multidisciplinary team members.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment goals as appropriate.
  • Educate patients and families regarding addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, and available community resources.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and discharge planning.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in a Human Services field, including Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Florida Clinical Licensure: LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT (Preferred)
  • CAP (Certified Addiction Professional) or MCAP (Master's Level Certified Addiction Professional) certification. (Preferred)
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with individuals experiencing mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Knowledge of substance use treatment and co-occurring disorders.
  • Current CPR certification (must be maintained throughout employment).
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

Starting at $57,000.00 annually
