Adolescent Wellness Academy (AWA) is a Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and virtual treatment program for adolescents and their families. Our Kendall location provides trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and family-centered care to teens navigating emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. We integrate individual therapy, family systems work, creative group modalities, and compassionate clinical structure to help teens build resilience, insight, and meaningful relationships.

We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Primary Therapist to join our Kendall clinical team. This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a dynamic environment, values team collaboration, and is deeply committed to supporting adolescent mental health. As a Primary Therapist, you’ll manage a full caseload, engage with families, and lead group therapy sessions that foster growth and healing.

  • Carry a caseload of adolescents enrolled in PHP and/or IOP programs
  • Facilitate weekly individual therapy sessions and clinically indicated family sessions
  • Provide psychoeducation, family dynamics work, and crisis intervention for caregivers
  • Lead or co-lead daily group therapy sessions (creative, experiential, DBT, or coping skills)
  • Collaborate with the clinical team on treatment planning, progress monitoring, and discharge coordination
  • Attend daily clinical meetings and contribute to an interdisciplinary team culture
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation (assessments, treatment plans, session notes, discharge summaries)
  • Participate in professional development, team-building activities, and occasional community or parent events

At AWA, you’ll be part of a values-driven, collaborative, and supportive team. Our culture is rooted in compassion, creativity, and commitment to showing up for teens and families in meaningful ways. You’ll have opportunities for professional growth, strong clinical supervision, and the ability to make a real impact in adolescent mental health care.

If you’re ready to grow as a clinician, lead with heart, and do deeply impactful work, we’d love to meet you.
