Level 3 Design Group is a forward-thinking design studio specializing in architecture, interior design, and branding. We are seeking a Principal Architect to lead our design team, driving architectural vision, design excellence, and project execution. In this role, you will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative, sustainable, and high-quality architectural solutions for both residential and commercial projects. You will be responsible for guiding the entire design process, from conceptualization through construction, ensuring design fidelity, technical accuracy, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural design efforts for projects of varying scale, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use spaces
  • Develop and present conceptual design proposals, design development documents, and construction drawings
  • Manage and mentor a team of architects, designers, and BIM specialists, fostering creativity and technical rigor
  • Coordinate with interior designers, project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure integrated design delivery
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of Building Information Models (BIM), ensuring design accuracy and clash detection
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, sustainability standards, and best practices
  • Serve as a client-facing liaison, conducting design reviews, status meetings, and managing client expectations
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Licensed Architect (or ability to obtain licensure) in the relevant jurisdiction(s)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design, with substantial experience leading complex projects
  • Proficiency in design and documentation software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills; experience managing multi-disciplinary design teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design ideas to clients and stakeholders
  • Deep knowledge of building codes, sustainability practices, and construction processes
