Principal Buyer
Summary
Join Millennium Print Group as a Principal Buyer!
We’re looking for an experienced Principal Buyer to lead complex purchasing and sourcing activities that support business continuity, cost optimization, and supplier performance. This role operates with a high level of independence and plays a key part in strategic procurement decisions across the organization.
Location: Raleigh, NC
Schedule: Full-time, Onsite/Hybrid
Pay & Benefits: Competitive salary + bonus eligibility + full benefits package
What You’ll Do
Lead complex purchasing activities for materials, supplies, and services
Qualify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and compliance
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms to achieve optimal business outcomes
Manage supplier relationships, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Partner with internal stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business needs
Analyze supplier performance data and recommend corrective actions or sourcing alternatives
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
Typically requires 12+ years of progressive procurement experience
Advanced negotiation and contract management expertise
Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies and supplier management practices
Proven analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage complex priorities with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
