This role is located in Melbourne, FL.\n\n**This role may be filled at the Principal OR Senior Principal level based on the qualifications listed, below**\n\nThis position is responsible for the planning and coordinating preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.\n\nKey Responsibilities: \n\n * Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.\n * Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.\n * Coordinates modification records for management control.\n * Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.\n * Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.\n * Support program configuration and data management requirements.\n\n\n\nWe offer flexible work arrangements, 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. We are looking for self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented people to help us grow our services and become even better at what we do.\n\nBasic Qualifications (Principal):\n\n * Must have a Bachelor\u2019s degree AND 5 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master\u2019s degree AND 3 years of related professional/military experience OR a Ph.D. AND 1 year of related professional/military experience.\n\n * Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). \n\n * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance prior to the commencement of employment\n\n * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to the commencement of employment.\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications (Senior Principal):\n\n * Must have a Bachelor\u2019s degree AND 8 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master\u2019s degree AND 6 years of related professional/military experience OR a Ph.D. AND 4 year of related professional/military experience.\n\n * Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). \n\n * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance prior to the commencement of employment\n\n * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to the commencement of employment.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Experience following documented rules and guidelines to ensure technical content meets internal and customer requirements\n * Active in scope Top Secret clearance.\n * Knowledge of EIA-649 or MIL-HDBK-61A.\n * Experience performing Technical Review Board and Configuration Control Board activities supporting baseline activities.\n * Experience establishing agendas, publish minutes \u0026 track meeting actions.\n * Experience processing change packages through lifecycle including disposition \u0026 documentation / hardware implementation.\n * Experience performing program data release functions via Product Lifecycle Management tools.\n * Experience with Data management for deliverable CDRLs, non-CDRL documents and SDRLs\n * Knowledge of Jira, Confluence and SharePoint\n * Ability to work under limited supervision.\n * Ability to work with individuals at all levels including management, peers, and outside customers.\n * Excellent organizational skills to include the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines\n * Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees, management and outside customers.\n * Understanding of configuration management principles / best practices to include management of contract and supplier data\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $81,800.00 - $122,000.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $101,400.00 - $152,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
