Our employees are not only part of history, they\u0027re making history.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Principal Data Insight Analyst for the development and ongoing support of new and existing designs used in surface ship and submarine propulsion and power generation systems for the US Navy based out of Sunnyvale, CA. The prospective candidate will work with a group of incredible people with backgrounds in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerothermal, Acoustics, Structural and Systems Engineers. The prospective candidate research, develops, designs, and test components, equipment, and systems.\n\nRoles and Responsibilities:\n\nThe candidate will serve in Principal Data Insight Analyst to support the Sunnyvale site. Assist configuration management activities across the full product lifecycle (development, production, and sustainment). Daily responsibilities will require direct contact with engineering, programs, and manufacturing to coordinate the processing and releasing of engineering documentation. This role will require the individual to learn Teamcenter, as it pertains to specific tasks within Configuration Management. Training will be provided. Candidate should be proactive, open to expanding knowledge, ability to support urgent requests, and work extended hours as needed to support Engineering and Operations. Understands the general problem space and is confident in explaining the different insights generated from the data.\n\nBasic Qualifications: \n\n * 5 Years with Bachelors; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD.\n * Excellent written and oral communication skills\n * Strong understanding and experience in specifying, collecting, processing and presenting information from several data sets.\n * Ability to identify patterns and higher level information from all the data sources through use of tools and application programming\n * Ability to develop and maintain metrics based on data\n * Ability to present data to leadership\n * Microsoft Office Suite \u2013 Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams\n * Ability to identify patterns and higher level information from all the data sources through use of tools and application programming\n * Schedule meetings, take notes, prepare meeting minutes (in person and virtual)\n * Self-sufficient and ability to work on tasks with minimal supervision\n * Must have ability and willingness to learn Teamcenter PLM system as it pertains to the responsibilities of this role\n * Possesses analytical and problem solving skills necessary for quickly developing recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative data from many different types of source\n * U.S. Citizenship required.\n * The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD a Secret clearance is required.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\n * Basic Configuration Management Principles\n * Teamcenter Experience\n * Conducting Configuration Control Board (CCB) ]\n * Adobe Acrobat\n * Microsoft Visio\n * Develop electronic workflows\n * Customer Service\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
