The position is cross functional working closely with multiple hardware, software, and product teams on a variety of different Snapdragon powered devices. Our highly creative teams are full of veteran game developers, artists, game engine experts and graphics enthusiasts who work on our latest GPU and gaming hardware innovations around mobile, PC, and XR.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 7+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. \n \n\u2022 4+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n\u00b7 10+ years of professional experience\n\n\u00b7 Comfortable working in large unfamiliar C/C++ codebases\n\n\u00b7 Hands-on experience using Machine Learning frameworks - Tensorflow/Pytorch\n\n\u00b7 Foundational knowledge of machine learning models and training\n\n\u00b7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n\n\u00b7 Self-motivated\n\n\u00b7 Familiarity with Generative AI Model architectures\n\n\u00b7 Experience with machine learning accelerators, optimizing algorithms for hardware acceleration cores using CUDA, OpenCL, DSPs and/or ML specific cores.\n\n\u00b7 Familiar with modern PC/console game engine architectures\n\nQualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
