This position reports to the Battle Management operating unit within Research and Advanced Design. The Software Integration \u0026 Test Lead role builds and maintains the CI/CD pipeline for builds, deployments, and regression testing for all required applications. The Lead develops integration-test plans, configures GFx, government environments, and ensures the C2 system and portable C2 demo meet \u201ctime-to-command\u201d and setup-time targets. A hands-on, results-driven engineer, the individual champions automation, rapid issue resolution, and a culture of continuous integration and quality assurance. This position is located in El Segundo, CA.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate builds, deployments, and regression testing. \nDevelop integration test plans that verify interoperability, data flow, and real-time command execution. \nConfigure and manage the demonstration environment, including GFx and government deployments, simulation stand-up, and software licensing. \nProvide on-site support during a two-person deployment demonstration to achieve target \u201csetup time\u201d and \u201ctime-to-command\u201d metrics.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Principal Software Engineer: Bachelor\u2019s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 5 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master\u2019s degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related engineering experience OR a PhD degree in a STEM discipline and 1 years of related engineering experience\n\n * Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.\n\n * Experience in software integration, test engineering, or DevOps for mission-critical systems.\n\n * Proficiency with automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Ansible), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and automated test frameworks.\n\n * Experience integrating COTS applications into secure, hardened environments and handling CUI data.\n\n * Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues under time-critical demo conditions.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Existing Department of Defense Secret level security clearance\n\n * Proven experience in Mission Autonomy\n\n * Understanding of contested environment operations, EW/EMCON constraints\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
