Principal HEMA Analyst

Bachelor's degree or equivalent 5 years of work experience in a technical field Formal training in health economics, public health, health services research, epidemiology, biostatistics or related discipline. Experience analyzing and solving complex technical problems including issues with health care claims data analysis. Experience developing tools, reports, and other products using claims data. Knowledge of statistical methods Occasional travel is required. Estimated at <10% Advanced degree in health policy, health economics, healthcare administration, health services research, or similar discipline (e.g. MS, MPH, MBA, MPH, MHA) Experience in the healthcare industry, including experience supporting reimbursement strategies for a medical device manufacturer. Experience analyzing Medicare MedPAR and SAF datasets Knowledge of SAS/SQL/Python programming Strong understanding of US health care policy and payment systems, including hospital and physician reimbursement. Interventional Cardiology industry experience Experience with new technology reimbursement pathways, particularly device.
