Principal Industrial Engineer

Analyzes lead times, queue times, work-in-process, cycle times, and throughput to meet customer demand most effectively and efficiently Builds scalable and sustainable models to optimize product flow, while incorporating cost, schedule, and resource constraints Develops optimized scheduling tools and aligns SAP/MRP systems with an executable plan given various capacity constraints Works with developers to design an interactive user interface that will be effective at scheduling jobs across cost centers Guides digital transformation efforts to align with sector and enterprise strategies Bachelor's of Science degree with 4 years of Industrial Engineering, Project Management or Manufacturing related experience in a manufacturing production environment; OR a Master's of Science degree with 3 years of Industrial Engineering, Project Management or Manufacturing related experience in a manufacturing production environment Minimum 1 year of experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management System) Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance and have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access Ability to travel at least 10% Must be able to work 4/10 shift and any shift STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) degree preferred Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment Flight test experience At least 2 years of demonstrated experience leading project teams Experience with SQL, VBA, Python or other programming languages Experience with improving manufacturing workflow using optimization, modeling, or simulation methods Experience with agile methods of project management or development Strong experience designing visualizations in Tableau in a professional work environment
