Our employees are not only part of history, they\u0027re making history.\n\nNorthrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Industrial Security Analyst to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.\n\nThis position requires the selected candidate to be on-site and does not allow for remote work. \n\nCore duties:\n\n * Material Management \u0026 Destruction \u2013 Oversee secure handling, storage, and destruction of classified and proprietary assets; maintain accurate accountability records.\n\n * Security Education \u0026 Awareness \u2013 Design, deliver, and track security training programs and briefings for personnel and visitors.\n\n * Program Development \u0026 Administration \u2013 Create, update, and enforce security policies, procedures, and manuals for classified information, equipment, and facilities.\n\n * Regulatory Compliance \u2013 Interpret, implement, and monitor federal security regulations (e.g., NISP, ITAR, DFARS) that affect security operations.\n\n * Agency Liaison \u2013 Obtain rulings, interpretations, and authorized deviations from the appropriate government agencies; act as the point of contact for compliance inquiries.\n\n * Access Control Management \u2013 Coordinate issuance and revocation of access credentials for personnel and visitors; maintain related documentation.\n\n * Incident Investigation \u2013 Conduct investigations of security violations, produce detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions.\n\n * Customer Relationship Management \u2013 Develop and sustain productive relationships with internal customers, external partners, and government representatives.\n\n * Additional Duties \u2013 Perform other related tasks as assigned to support the overall security mission.\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * 5+ Years of relevant experience with Bachelors; or 3+ Years relevant experience with Masters; an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for bachelor\u2019s degree.\n\n * Proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite 365\n\n * Proficiency working with government security databases: DISS, NISS,\n\n * Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion\n\n * Self-starter with minimal supervision\n\n * Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Demonstrated knowledge of insider\u2011threat programs, OPSEC, and overall program protection\n\n * Strong written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to brief senior leadership\n\n * Experience navigating DoD base\u2011access requirements (CAC issuance, government badging, system\u2011account provisioning)\n\n * Track record of conducting compliance self\u2011inspections and supporting external customer audits\n\n * Experience drafting and executing corrective\u2011action plans\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $85,600.00 - $128,400.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
