Description
IMA Clinical Research is seeking a board-certified MD or DO with a background in general medicine and/or metabolic specialties to join our Monroe, LA site as a Principal Investigator. This is an opportunity to focus on clinical research in a structured, team-based environment—no on-call required.
We are open to physicians seeking a flexible schedule ranging from 3 days per week (part-time) up to full-time (5 days per week).
What You’ll Do:
Lead clinical trials and ensure adherence to study protocols and regulatory requirements
Evaluate and screen participants to determine study eligibility
Monitor patient safety, including reporting of adverse events and protocol updates
Maintain accurate and timely study documentation
Collaborate with Sponsors, research staff, and site leadership
What You Bring:
MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license
Board certification in your specialty
Prior experience as a Principal Investigator in clinical trials
Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and communication skills
