THE POSITION


As a Principal Integrated Supply Chain Project Manager – S/4 Planning & Logistics here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering transformation across planning and logistics processes. You will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that improve demand and supply planning, inventory deployment, warehouse and transportation operations, and order fulfillment while ensuring alignment to business priorities and enterprise S/4 strategy.


 


The Principal ISC Project Manager serves as the business owner for Planning and Logistics solutions across the end-to-end value stream, defining transformation priorities, representing operational requirements, and driving alignment between business, operations, and design teams throughout the SAP S/4 program.


 


Your expertise will extend to guiding cross-functional teams through the full project life cycle, from process design and requirements definition through testing, deployment, and stabilization. You will help establish scalable planning and logistics practices, identify opportunities to standardize processes, and drive adoption of best-in-class tools and methods. In partnership with key stakeholders, you will define scope, priorities, milestones, and success metrics; manage interdependencies across procurement, manufacturing, fulfillment, and customer delivery; and proactively mitigate risk. You will provide clear updates to senior leadership on status, issues, decisions, and business impact. With deep knowledge of planning and logistics operations, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills, you will be a key driver of transformation success across our global organization.


 



Responsibilities

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Contribute to Planning and Logistics transformation decisions by providing insight into tradeoffs, operational risks, and target outcomes across forecasting, supply planning, warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment.
  • Define the level of process change, harmonization, and standardization the business is prepared to undertake across planning and logistics operations.
  • Identify core business requirements and capabilities for demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and distribution, including critical compliance considerations.
  • Partner with IT and application consultants to define the high-level process scope, solution design priorities, and transformation ambition for Planning and Logistics.
  • Identify key stakeholders, interdependencies, and integration points across procurement, manufacturing, customer service, transportation, and distribution networks.
  • Support the Business Program Leader in aligning leadership around the Planning and Logistics transformation roadmap, priorities, and business value.
  • Help establish and enable business roles such as process owners, SMEs, planners, logistics leads, and change champions to support sustainable transformation.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver Planning and Logistics initiatives on time, within budget, and with measurable operational impact.
  • Develop and execute project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resource needs, testing, deployment, and stabilization for planning and logistics process changes.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to planning accuracy, inventory availability, transportation execution, warehouse readiness, and customer delivery performance.
  • Monitor progress against milestones and KPIs, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on status, risks, decisions, and operational outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning effectiveness, inventory health, logistics performance, and end-to-end service levels.
  • Collaborate across functions to ensure successful integration of planning and logistics processes with procurement, manufacturing, customer fulfillment, and finance.
  • Ensure adherence to project governance, transformation methodologies, and tools while supporting scalable, standardized Planning and Logistics processes.

 



Qualifications

 

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENT

Due to US export control laws, candidates must be U.S. citizen, perm resident, protected status under asylum/refugee, OR can obtain export approval.

 

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6+ years of experience in supply chain, Planning, Logistics, or related project/program management, with a consistent record of leading complex transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and regional variations across demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation, and distribution.
  • Expert knowledge of Planning and Logistics processes, including forecasting, supply and inventory planning, warehousing, transportation, and customer fulfillment.
  • Proven experience leading complex projects involving process design, ERP transformation, project planning, execution, testing, deployment, and performance monitoring within Planning and Logistics environments.
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

 

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to envision and drive the future direction of supply chain initiatives.
  • Ability to influence and drive change in a complex and matrixed organization, ensuring successful adoption and implementation of new strategies.
  • Experience with advanced project and transformation methodologies and tools, with the ability to improve planning discipline, logistics execution, and process standardization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, conveying complex information to diverse audiences effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global team environment, fostering collaboration and synergy across diverse teams.
  • Strong project management skills and adept at balancing multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment. PMP Certification preferred.
  • Ability to drive change and inspire teams toward common objectives.
  • Proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain function.
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems related to supply chain management.
