Located at Schriever Space Force Base, CO, this role is essential for supporting the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at the strategic, regional, and operational levels.\n\nThis position does not provide relocation assistance and requires on-site work with no remote options.\n\nPosition Overview:\n\nThe Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a key component of the Missile Defense System. It serves as a crucial operational tool that enables the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at the strategic, regional, and operational levels to plan ballistic missile defenses systematically, monitor the battle collectively, and dynamically control networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC supports layered missile defense systems that provide an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It acts as a force multiplier by networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensors, weapon systems, and operations at both global and regional levels to enhance performance. C2BMC is essential for all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the current and future capabilities of missile defense systems.\n\nEssential Functions:\n\n * Responsible for the Asset management of all hardware and software that the program and government customer utilize\n * Will develop and oversee life cycle management and obsolescence plans\n * Responsible for the accountability and management of hardware utilized by the program through disposal\n * Maintains frequent contact with internal and external customers and represents the organization by providing solutions to complex technical issues related to specific projects\n * This position is full-time, on-site at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC) located at Schriever SFB, CO, and is not a remote work opportunity\n * Non-standard hours are common during event execution\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nPlease list your current security clearance and IAT or relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable.\n\n * A Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master\u2019s degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree\n * Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start\n * Having experience in asset management and version tracking is crucial\n * Previous leadership experience with demonstrated expertise in asset management, particularly in overseeing software and hardware life cycles\n * Possess the ability to communicate with internal and external customers, leaders, and development teams\n\n\n\nWhat We Can Offer You:\n\nNorthrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment that encourages your growth, supporting both employees and the company\u0027s success. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
