Principal Product Manager

The Principal Product Manager role is a senior level product manager role, applicants should have prior product management experience, be familiar with standard SDLC frameworks, and have the ability to create short term and long term roadmaps and work collaboratively with development teams to execute the roadmap.

Job Description:

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Summary of Duties:

· Oversee the IT product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and quality expectations.

· Translate complex business requirements into detailed IT product specifications, architecture, and user stories.

· Develop and own the comprehensive IT product vision and multi-year roadmap for Enterprise Sales, aligning it with business goals and market demands.

· Partner with senior leadership to define IT product priorities and opportunities for innovation.

· Analyze and anticipate industry trends, competitive landscapes, and internal capabilities to shape IT product direction.

· Act as the primary advocate for Enterprise Sales within the organization, ensuring that IT product strategies address customer needs and business objectives.

· Lead collaboration with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships teams to ensure seamless execution of IT product initiatives.

· Foster relationships with external stakeholders and partners to identify integration opportunities and drive IT product adoption.

· Guide technical design discussions and provide strategic feedback on technical architecture and system integration.

· Establish KPIs to monitor and evaluate IT product performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

· Drive iterative development cycles by leveraging customer feedback, data insights, and business intelligence.

· Promote a culture of testing, learning, and continuous improvement across the IT product development team.

· Provide guidance to IT product managers and cross-functional teams, fostering professional growth and ensuring best practices.

· Present strategic updates, product performance, and opportunities for improvement to executive and C-level stakeholders.

· Represent the company at industry events, establishing thought leadership in enterprise sales and product innovation.

Education requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field

Experience requirements: 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation

Special Skills or Other Requirements:

Must have 5 years of experience with each of the following:

1. Product management within the insurance technology (InsurTech), financial technology, or enterprise software domain.

2. Defining and delivering data-centric products (data lakes, APIs, and analytics platforms) and leveraging cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, and Azure) to drive operational efficiency, automation, and compliance.

3. Working on regulatory, compliance, and security initiatives within insurance, financial services, and regulated data environments.

4. Leading cross-functional Engineering, Data Science, and Design teams to deliver large-scale digital products, from concept through go-to-market, within an Agile and Scrum environment.

5. Developing go-to-market strategies, API-first product architectures, and automation and data integration initiatives that improve client adoption, reduce operational costs, and accelerate time-to-market.
