Position: Principal, Program Management - Onsite Merchandising

Team Description

The Onsite Merchandising team is looking for a Senior Program Manager who is passionate about delivering best-in-class customer experiences through data-driven merchandising strategies and operational excellence.

This role will drive high-impact initiatives that enhance the quality, relevance, and performance of onsite content across Coupang’s Taiwan platform.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong executional capabilities, able to build scalable processes, collaborate cross-functionally, and continuously optimize for customer engagement and business growth.

What will you do?

Ensure onsite merchandising content (e.g., banners, modules, landing pages) is accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand and business goals, while maintaining parity with standards.

• Build and scale new merchandising programs from scratch—including process design, resource planning, dashboard creation, and performance tracking using key metrics.


• Translate data insights into clear, actionable recommendations and communicate them effectively to stakeholders, including retail and marketing leadership.


• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to localize and implement merchandising strategies tailored to the Taiwan market.

Qualifications

Required:

• 8+ years of experience in operations, program management, or merchandising execution


• Proven ability to set up and scale operational processes from zero


• Strong analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking and reporting


• Proficiency in Excel; ability to work with large datasets


• Demonstrated success managing multiple projects and cross-functional stakeholders


• Leadership experience with a track record of developing junior team members


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills


• Native Chinese required & fluent English

Preferred:

• Experience with SQL or Tableau is a plus


• Background in e-commerce, retail, or digital marketing operations
