Req ID:\n\nJR113779 PRINCIPAL PROGRAM MANAGER, STORAGE PRODUCTS PMO\n\nOur vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.\n\nMicron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.\n\nA PMO (Program Management Office) Program Manager at Micron is responsible for the development of NAND, NAND Solutions and SSD products from the planning stage through qualification and product ramp in accordance with Micron\u2019s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process. In this position, the individual will also be responsible for achieving the program targets captured in the project release document (schedule, quality, costs, manufacturing readiness and budget), and for directing the Product Development Team (PDT). The Program Manager will be leveraging artificial intelligence for task automation and planning workflows to improve overall efficiency and TTM!\n\n \n\n\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\n\n \n\n\nProgram management responsibilities:\n\n \n\n\n * Partner with the Business Unit (BU), Engineering, R\u0026D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to capture product requirements and align development targets, deliverables, and success criteria.\n * Establish and maintain a project schedule as the single source of truth, including regular task updates, action tracking, and recovery planning when execution is off schedule.\n * Confirm the availability of resources required to achieve project goals and drive closure of identified gaps.\n * Develop the engineering and qualification sample delivery plan with Supply Chain and coordinate manufacturing readiness.\n * Establish and drive the Product Development Team (PDT), including regular meetings that set the team\u2019s pace, focus, accountability, and execution priorities.\n * Manage program risks and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.\n * Surface issues early, resolve conflicts, set priorities, make timely decisions, and raise matters beyond the PDT\u2019s authority.\n * Lead stage-gate, work-review, and program-review activities, and provide regular program status reports to Engineering and Business Unit leadership teams.\n * Drive product qualification, ramp, and handoff to Manufacturing and Supply Chain while ensuring achievement of schedule, quality, cost, budget, and readiness targets.\n * Conduct lessons-learned workshops and share knowledge and best practices across the company. \n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nProject (Design) Manager E4 - Project (Design) Manager E5\n\nRelocation Level: TBD\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
