Our employees are not only part of history, they\u0027re making history.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) has an opening for a Principal Quality Analyst or Sr. Principal Quality Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.\n\nThis position is full-time on-site in Unknown City, GA and will support, within the Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector. As a Program Principal Quality Analyst or Sr. Principal Quality Analyst you will be expected to personally grow and champion continuous development both personally and for your peers. If this description fits who you are and you wish to join a fast-paced team that builds and executes strategies that result in sustainable value creation, then we need you on our team!\n\nThis role may be filled as a Principal Quality Analyst or Sr. Principal Quality Analyst\n\nResponsibilities\n\nThe Quality Analyst is required to:\n\n * Act as a liaison between staff and management, relaying updates and advocating for team needs.\n\n * Collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, and other functions to ensure quality standards are in place and to resolve issues.\n\n * Able to conduct/support internal process evaluations and develop process evaluation reports.\n\n * Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards through execution of scheduled and unscheduled audits.\n\n * Develop, collect, and track metrics for process health and performance monitoring.\n\n * Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.\n\n * Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.\n\n * Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.\n\n * Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards, and that documentation is compliant with requirements.\n\n * Responsible for updating Quality and Mission Assurance (QMA) plans/procedures.\n\n * Works with and provide support with our quality assurance inspection group.\n\n * Promptly responds to technical issues that arise in the operations realm utilizing work instructions, design documents, and specifications.\n\n * Read and interpret blueprint and engineering drawings and be able to document non-conformances.\n\n * Work with the Engineering team to ensure that part requirements are correctly described and documented in the production workplans.\n\n * Perform AS9100 audits to ensure compliance with standard requirements.\n\n * Coordinate with the NGC Global Supply Chain (GSC), and the Supplier Quality and Mission Assurance functions to enhance cross harmonization of activities and initiatives.\n\n\n\n\nWork is performed within the confines of standardized company and industry policies, practices, and procedures. This job has decision-making responsibilities regarding the acceptance or rejection of work and tests performed of which records of results are maintained. \n\nBasic Qualifications for Principal Quality Analyst:\n\n * 5 years related experience with a Bachelors; or 3 years related experience with a Masters; or 1 year related experience with a PhD\n\n * 2 years of experience working in an AS9100 or ISO9001 compliant organization\n\n * Experience in developing or reviewing Root Cause / Corrective Action activity\n\n * Experience with quality management systems to support program processes, audits, and/or improvements\n\n * Experience in processing, monitoring, data collection, analysis, and metric reporting for overall program and segments\n\n * Experience with SAP/S4 ERP transactions\n\n * Efficient at MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other office systems\n\n * Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously\n\n * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a team\n\n * Self-Starter and ability to work through an issue to closure\n\n * Must have a current and active DoD Secret clearance and must have the ability to obtain and maintain special program access within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company\n\n * Ability to travel at least 10%\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Quality Analyst:\n\n * 8 years related experience with a Bachelors; or 6 years related experience with a Masters; or 4 year related experience with a PhD\n\n * 2 years of experience working in an AS9100 or ISO9001 compliant organization\n\n * Experience in developing or reviewing Root Cause / Corrective Action activity\n\n * Experience with quality management systems to support program processes, audits, and/or improvements\n\n * Experience in processing, monitoring, data collection, analysis, and metric reporting for overall program and segments\n\n * Experience with SAP/S4 ERP transactions\n\n * Efficient at MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other office systems\n\n * Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously\n\n * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a team\n\n * Self-Starter and ability to work through an issue to closure\n\n * Must have a current and active DoD Secret clearance and must have the ability to obtain and maintain special program access within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company\n\n * Ability to travel at least 10%\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * 5 years of Quality Management System (QMS) and Root Cause Corrective Action analysis experience\n\n * Continual Improvement\n\n * Risk Analysis and Management\n\n * Experience with document control process\n\n * Experience with manufacturing, quality controls, inspection and/or non-conformance controls\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $101,400.00 - $152,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
