That proximity enables speed, fidelity, and impact that are difficult to achieve anywhere else.\n\n## What You\u2019ll Work On\n\n * Customer-facing tools used by real Vizient members\n\n * Rapid experiments and prototypes designed to learn quickly\n\n * Products that ship, evolve, and ship again -- in rapid succession\n\n * Platform work that unlocks future product velocity\n\n\n\n\n## How You\u2019ll Work\n\n * Partner closely with product leaders to understand problems, users, and rationale\n\n * Shape solutions collaboratively when it makes sense, or execute independently when that\u2019s more effective\n\n * Move fluidly from idea to prototype to production\n\n * Make pragmatic technical decisions that balance speed, learning, and durability\n\n * Help define how this R\u0026D unit operates as it grows\n\n\n\n\n## What We\u2019re Looking For\n\n * Strong software engineering fundamentals and a bias toward shipping\n\n * Comfort working on ambiguous problems with real users and real constraints\n\n * Ability to quickly understand product intent and translate it into working software\n\n * A track record of building things that were actually used\n\n * 2-5 years of experience is common, but not required -- judgment and capability matter more than tenure\n\n * Healthcare experience is not required\n\n\n\n\n## Why This Role Is Different\n\n * It\u2019s a foundational role in a new business unit with room to grow\n\n * You\u2019ll have real ownership and influence from the start\n\n * You\u2019ll ship software into live environments, not slide decks or internal demos\n\n * You\u2019ll help shape what R\u0026D looks like at Vizient long-term\n\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n\u2022 Demonstrated success in leading high-impact projects or initiatives in a fast-paced, innovative environment \n\u2022 Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and influencing technical direction at an organizational level \n\u2022 Prior exposure to large-scale systems, cloud-native platforms, and enterprise-grade software development\n\n#LI-KG1\n\nEstimated Hiring Range:\n\nAt Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances.
