## \nCompany:\n\nQualcomm Technologies, Inc.\n\n## Job Area:\n\nEngineering Group, Engineering Group \u003e ASICS Engineering\n\nGeneral Summary:\n\n## Qualcomm is looking for an experienced SoC architect to work on the next generation AI products in the datacenter.\n\n## We are looking for a data center engineer whose expertise spans security, RAS and/or virtualization.\n\n## The selected candidate will help define the architecture and drive requirements from card/server level to a full rack.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Understand trends in datacenter security, RAS and virtualization through customer and ODM engagements\n\n * Work with customers to determine HW and SW requirements\n\n * Analysis of the current AI server deployments in different datacenters\n\n * Architect enhancements required for deployment of next-generation AI products\n\n\n\n\nDesign the SOC architecture for at least one or more of the following areas:\n\n### 1.RAS\n\n * Reliability analysis of the card, server and rack level systems\n\n * Design/architect for easy serviceability\n\n * Implement HW/SW techniques for improved availability to mitigate failures.\n\n\n\n\n### \n\n### 2.Virtualization\n\n * Support multiple clients using VMs on the same HW platform\n\n * Leverage industry best practices for security and isolation between clients\n\n\n\n\n### \n\n### 3.Security\n\n * Confidential compute or its equivalent based on datacenter requirements\n\n\n\n\nMinimum Requirements:\n\n * Master\u0027s degree or equivalent in Engineering, or related field.\n\n * 10+ years HW design, testing and commercialization experience\n\n * 3+ years of experience of working in datacenter related products - servers, accelerators etc.\n\n * In-depth knowledge of datacenter - security, RAS, virtualization, telemetry, power, cooling, lifecycle, deployments etc.\n\n * Good knowledge of scale-up and scale-out architectures.\n\n * Willingness to work in a high-caliber international/multi-site team\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Skills and Experience:\n\n * Experience and knowledge of Server SOC security specifically in the area of Confidential Compute\n\n * Participation in OCP Security Forum and Confidential Compute Forum is a plus\n\n * Experience and knowledge in defining RAS infrastructure at the Server SoC level\n\n * Experience and knowledge of PCIe protocol spanning SRIOV, SIOV, IDE, TDISP etc.\n\n * Good knowledge of server SOC architectures focusing on security, RAS and virtualization\n\n * Good knowledge of Ethernet protocols with emphasis on error recovery and virtualization\n\n * Ability to work with PdM (Product Marketing) and datacenter customers to define requirements covering security, RAS and virtualization etc.\n\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 7+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.\n\nQualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
