DSS is an intelligence platform that delivers crystal-clear situational awareness of emerging threats, their potential impacts, and the time window for response to the nation\u0027s most senior civilian and military leaders. The successful candidates will demonstrate a broad skill set balanced between interpersonal and technical capabilities achieving sustainable quality products. They will have a track record as problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The selected candidates will participate in the entire software development lifecycle with a concentration in software engineering. The candidates will work closely with other software developers accomplishing the following:\n\n * Complete work independently and as a part of an Agile team\n * Support team in completing necessary software on schedule\n * Solve complex problems through innovative and creative solutions\n * Collaborate with software designers and/or software engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of software systems\n * Regularly demonstrate progress to customers\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * High school diploma with 9 years of software development experience OR Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field with 5 years of experience OR Master of Science degree in STEM field with 3 years of experience\n * Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance\n * Experience as a Full Stack Software Developer\n * Demonstrated experience in Java\n * Proven experience with Linux OS\n * Familiarity with relational database management systems (Oracle/PDBs) and SQL\n * Working knowledge of the Agile development processes\n * Familiarity with Software Testing (Integration testing, Unit testing)\n * Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results\n * Ability to work full time on-site in Bellevue, NE\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Active secret clearance\n * Experience with Enterprise Database\n * DevOps / DevSecOps experience\n * Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (CD)\n * Experience setting up Jenkins builds\n * Software Security Tools experience\n * Demonstrated use of Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and configuration management (BitBucket)\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
