Our differentiated battle management and cyber solutions deliver timely, mission-enabling information and provide superior situational awareness and understanding to protect the U.S. and its global allies.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Principal / Sr Principal Integration \u0026 Test Engineer based out of Annapolis, MD.\n\nWhat You\u2019ll get to Do:\n\n * Maintain processes and procedures for the assembly and test of spacecraft, aircraft and/or related equipment.\n\n * Coordinate integration activities with supervisors, program engineers and various customer organizations.\n\n * Document and disposition hardware discrepancies and pursue root cause and corrective actions.\n\n * Design and develop tooling to aid in the integration and test process.\n\n\n\n\n***Note: This position is contingent upon Contract Award.*** \n\nThis position may be filled as a Principal Integration \u0026 Test Engineer or Sr Principal Integration \u0026 Test Engineer.\n\nBasic Qualifications Principal Integration \u0026 Test Engineer:\n\n * BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical degree with 5+ years of related experience or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field with 3+ years related experience, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field with 1+ years related experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\n\n * Experienced with advanced troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.\n\n * Strong work ethic and the ability to work in an integrated product team (IPT) environment.\n\n * Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking, problem solving skills and Systems Thinking mindset.\n\n * Excellent decision making and communication (written and oral) skills.\n\n * Ability and willingness to work independently with little oversight or direction.\n\n * US Citizenship and current/active U.S. Government Secret Clearance is required.\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications Sr Principal Integration \u0026 Test Engineer:\n\n * BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical degree with 8+ years of related experience or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field with 6+ years related experience, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field with 4+ years related experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\n\n * Experienced with advanced troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.\n\n * Strong work ethic and the ability to work in an integrated product team (IPT) environment.\n\n * Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking, problem solving skills and Systems Thinking mindset.\n\n * Excellent decision making and communication (written and oral) skills.\n\n * Ability and willingness to work independently with little oversight or direction.\n\n * US Citizenship and current/active U.S. Government Secret Clearance is required.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Experience in an integration and test environment for complex mechanical/electronic systems evaluation.\n\n * Experience performing Design Verification Tests, First Article Acceptance Tests and Factory Acceptance Tests.\n\n * Experience overseeing subcontractor testing.\n\n * Experience working closely with Mission Assurance and Quality Assurance.\n\n * Experience with CADSTAR and ISE drawing updates.\n\n * Working knowledge of the following specialty areas: Sonar, electric motors and motor controllers, cable drawings.\n\n * Ability to work in a customer facing role to assist in operator training.\n\n * Ability to oversee maintenance and training material creation.\n\n * Ability and willingness to travel.\n\n * Active Top Secret clearance.\n\n\n\n\nWhat We Can Offer You:\n\nNorthrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
