Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist

Develops supply chain strategy and leads activities for GSC in all phases of the Northrop Grumman Business Acquisition Process (BAP). Manages the GSC scope for multifaceted program(s), proposal through close-out. Coordinates interdepartmental activity, directs communication, coordinates with Suppliers, and integrates efforts across all GSC functions. Coordinates cross-functionally (with all program functions) to ensure supply chain commitments are met and that appropriate integrated mitigation or opportunity plans are developed and executed. Leads supply chain execution and is accountable for horizontal and vertical integration, resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity and issue management, supplier performance, and issue resolution. Aligns project scope and deliverables with customer requirements and works closely with the technical community. Demonstrates problem solving skills in supply chain, business management, operations, logistics, engineering, or program management. Briefs the GSCPM on the status and issues affecting program performance: Cost, risks and opportunities, and schedule. Will be involved in special projects and continuous improvement activities. Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain/business management or Master's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain or business management Experience with ERP systems Experience in financial reporting/forecasting US Citizen Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security clearance Active Secret or Top-Secret Security clearance Experience in Earned Value Management Systems ASCM/APICS Supply Chain Certifications
