We\u2019ll support you with training, employee resource groups, and our shared vision of global security.\n\nMission Systems Category Management Team is looking for a Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist, reporting to the Category Manager. This position has exposure at the enterprise level and is instrumental in driving the supply base to provide consistently high-quality parts on schedule to support our customers. This position can be worked remote from either North Carolina or South Carolina. The individual must reside in one of those two states in order to be considered.\n\nPosition Summary / Responsibilities:\n\n * Perform Open Order Report (OOR) management to include dock dates, need dates, contract dates, using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools\n * Lead supplier issue management, prioritization, expediting\n * Analyzes delivered product lead times and identifies critical path procurements\n * Creates and maintains Supplier Production Readiness Reviews (SPRR), Supplier Business Reviews (SBR), and assist with Enterprise Strategic/Sourcing Agreements (LTPA/LTSA)\n * Completes quarterly supplier assessments for critical and strategic suppliers (SAMS)\n * Identify and execute cost reduction opportunities to satisfy goals\n * Assists with long-term capacity and resource planning; product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end of-life management\n * Drive supplier improvement through RTG activities to meet delivery goals\n * Reports status to affected programs\n * Develops relationships with supplier personnel for quick response\n * Ability to travel to supplier sites periodically\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field., Master\u0027s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field.\n * US Citizenship\n * Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance\n\n\n\nPreferred qualifications:\n\n * Experience leading multiple teams at once\n * Experience hosting executive level business/performance reviews\n * SAP experience\n * Cables \u0026 Connectors experience\n * Engineering or technical degree\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $85,600.00 - $128,400.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
