Principal System Administrator

Principal System Administrator, Clearance Required – TS/SCI w/Polygraph

Minimum Qualifications:

• A current Top-Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph is required.
  


• A bachelors degree from an accredited university, or an additional four (4) years of technical experience similar in scope.
  


• Twenty (20) years of technical experience as a systems engineer or administrator utilizing Unix or Red HatLinux and similar distributions.
  


• Experience configuring, updating, and mainting Red Hat Linux systems.
  

Bonus Points:

• Experience configuring AWS cloud systems.
  

As a System Administrator, You Will:

• Perform regular system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Linux-based systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.)
  


• Ensure the stability, security, and integrity of Linux servers, including patching, configuration, and updates
  


• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control for Linux environments
  


• Perform system backups and data recovery procedures
  


• Monitor and optimize server performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions
  


• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with system hardware, software, and network components
  


• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl
