Principal System Operations Engineer

Not just doing the work, but teaching others and explaining the “why” behind technical decisions Looking for places you can improve the service and not just take direction Not being afraid to roll up your sleeves and dig into the logs Constantly thinking about system robustness, stability, and scalability US Citizenship or Green Card is required due to ITAR requirements. Ability to commute to the Seaport Boston office 2-3 days a week. 10+ years in a highly technical, hands-on operations / DevOps / support / QA role Experience with large AWS, Azure, or GCP environments is strongly recommended Strong experience with administering and deploying on Linux systems Experience with automated deployment and monitoring tools like Puppet and Ansible. Experience with automated Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Cloudformation, etc Experience with backend databases like MongoDB or Elasticsearch is a plus Experience supporting Java applications a plus Python or bash scripting a plus Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, science, or equivalent experience
