Print Press Support

Summary: The Press Support is responsible for assisting the Press Operator in setting up, operating, and maintaining flexo presses to produce labels per our customer's expectations.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Helps the press operator by preparing the press for a run by verifying job specs.
• Reading and understanding the customer's job jacket.
• Ensure that all equipment needed is placed on the setup cart.
• Perform press make-ready by removing and loading print cylinders, material, lamination, die, ink, etc.
• Assist press operators with setting up any auxiliary equipment.
• Empties trash and rag containers as they become full.
• Gathers label stock from the inventory clerk.
• Remove finished rolls as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one year of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a printing environment is preferred. Experience with operating various hand tools is preferred. Must be able to work in a team environment. Criminal and drug screen background checks are required.
