That\u2019s where you come in!\n\nThis adventurer specifies the materials and processes used to build tabletop game products like Magic:The Gathering and Dungeons \u0026 Dragons. This role works closely with our suppliers to develop products that exceed our game developer\u0027s vision and business needs. \n \n\n\nResponsibilities include crafting manufacturing specifications, defining production processes, and leading pre-production activities through final production of games with external suppliers. \n \n\n\n## What You\u2019ll Do:\n\n * Craft collation plans with suppliers to ensure the correct components are packed out in products.\n * Develop printing and manufacturing solutions to meet our vision for appearance and function of products.\n * Responsible for cost estimates during each phase of product development to targets set by finance.\n * Builds detailed product specifications.\n * Review confirming proofs and materials from suppliers.\n * Actively participate in product development meetings and discussions.\n * Attend print and pack out production approvals at supplier facilities as needed.\n * Use your experience with production management to find outstanding solutions to project challenges.\n\n\n\n## \nWhat You\u2019ll Bring:\n\n * BS in Media Arts \u0026 Technology or equivalent experience.\n * 3+ years minimum experience required in production areas including: art production, purchasing, traffic, marketing, prepress, printing, and packaging.\n * Passion for solving problems and bringing awesome products to life.\n * Knowledge of plastic component production a plus.\n * Experience with production management of consumer products at supplier locations (press checks, pack out checks, audits).\n * Ability to balance multiple priorities and multitask.\n * Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel.\n * Skilled in the use of Adobe Creative Suite applications a very strong plus.\n * Broad knowledge of print and package manufacturing processes and equipment and knowledge of game, card, book, and toy production and related processes strongly recommended.\n * Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.\n * Capable of acting as a project leader, providing direction to teammates or cross functional teams.\n * Be a collaborative, continuous learner who shares knowledge to make others better.\n * Have excellent color perception and an eye for detail.\n * Knowledge of and interest in the game or entertainment industry.\n * Currently have or capable of getting a passport. \n \n\n\n\n\nWe are an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer\n\nWizards of the Coast is committed to equality of opportunity in all aspects of employment. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions.
