Core Focus

Screen Technicians are responsible for working as a team in the maintenance and recycling of screens as related to reclamation, repair, reuse, and rinsing.

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

• Retrieve used screen racks from press areas and stage by reclaim room
• Remove excess ink and tape from used screens
• Dip screens in dipping tanks
• Power wash screens to remove all ink and emulsion
• Emulsify cleaned screens for reuse
• Dip & rinse burned screens for use at press
• Move screens into designated drying racks
• Wear designated PPE equipment suitable for each task
• Sort screens by mesh counts and condition to ensure proper recycle and repair
• Maintain neat and safe work area
• Assist in the maintenance and trash removal in the Production area
• Partner with all production staff to develop ideas to maintain and improve all levels of service and production
• Handle additional responsibilities and projects as directed by the immediate supervisor

Qualifications

• Read, write, and speak English
• Basic math skills
• Attention to detail in assessing screen condition for use or repair
• Desire to learn other functionalities other than Screen Tech

Physical Requirements

• Work in warehouse where climate temperatures vary between hot/cold
• Reclaim & Rinsing are tasks where the associate is working with water and hose a majority of the day
• Stand/ walk all day
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Flexing into other positions/tasks within the warehouse
