Print Shop Technician

We are currently seeking a Print Shop Technician to join our Raleigh, NC office location. The Print Shop Technician is self-motivated with excellent multi-tasking skills and a strong attention to detail.  The successful candidate will support over 100 users in the printing of over 70K square feet of large-format prints per month. Prints are time-sensitive, so excellent follow-through, prioritization and exemplary customer service skills are required. This person will be part of a larger team of experienced, knowledgeable IT professionals, and will be the primary point of support and service for the Print Shop. 

Essential duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Print, bind and deliver plan sets
• Order Supplies for print room
• Send specialty requests to outside vendors
• Merge and convert submitted files, and provide quality control for all associated prints
• Assist with moving of furniture or computers
• Place printer service calls when needed and see that they are addressed in a timely manner
• Run weekly printing report for accounting

Qualifications/Experience

• Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Applicant needs to be well versed in Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe
• Unrivaled client service skills and ability to demonstrate a friendly, customer service-oriented attitude
• Must be willing to take initiative and learn continuously
• Ability to maintain a mature and professional approach to this unique position
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed for print and computer related items
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Applicant must be able to pick up 50lbs and carry it without issue
