Printing Machine Operator - with Great Benefits

We are seeking a Deco Operator (Silkscreen Printer) for one of our many locations in Atlanta, GA! Our Deco Operators are responsible for silkscreen printing, hot stamping, and screen setup for our decorating department.

The hours are on 2nd shift from 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Job Description:

• Operate OMSO silkscreen presses, hot stamp machine, silkscreen making (screen builds or mesh builds)
• Pressure Sensitive Labeling, Shrink Sleeve, In-Mold Labeling, Heat Transfer Labeling, Stretch Sleeve
• Off contact printing
• Silkscreen plastic sheets according to different orders; UV ink on auto presses
• Set up screen select appropriate inks, and mix colors to achieve desired results
• Ensure proper alignment and registration of screens to achieve accurate designs.
• Monitor and adjust the printing process to maintain consistent quality and color vibrancy
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with equipment and printing process
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including simple maintenance and cleaning of equipment and common areas
• Setup new jobs and maintain a clean and organized work environment, including simple maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Follow detailed work instructions to run each job

Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities

• Experience with OMSO/Kammann
• Direct Silkscreen Printing
• Pressure Sensitive Labeling
• Shrink Sleeve
• In-Mold Labeling
• Heat Transfer Labeling
• Stretch Sleeve
• Experience operating Deco silk screening/hot stamp/similar for plastics bottles or plastic containers with UV Ink
• Experience with in-mold labeling, heat transfer labeling, shrink sleeves, UV Ink Silk Screening, Deco/Silk Screening of any type of plastic container or packaging
• Preference for Deco experience on blow molding bottles or rigid containers
• Troubleshooting skills
