Printing Press Operator

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Offset Litho Press Operator to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the operation and maintenance of a printing press, ensuring high-quality output and smooth job transitions. Schedule: On-the-job training (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM), with 2nd or 3rd shift schedule post-training

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Press Equipment: Set up, run, and maintain offset litho presses to produce high-quality print jobs.


• Monitor Production: Ensure the press is consistently supplied with ink, varnish, and paper. Track and improve operational efficiency.


• Job Setup & Transition: Assist in mounting plates, loading ink, and staging supplies for seamless transitions between print jobs.


• Quality Control: Inspect printed materials for color, consistency, and adherence to job specifications. Label finished products accordingly.


• Maintenance: Perform cleaning and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine function.


• Collaboration & Communication: Communicate job issues or deviations promptly with supervisors and team members.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• 3+ years of experience in a press operation role (Offset, Litho, or similar)


• Strong attention to detail and color accuracy


• Basic math and computer skills (Excel, Outlook, etc.)


• Ability to work independently and in a team setting

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs


• Frequent bending, standing, squatting, and reaching


• Must pass background check, drug/alcohol screening, physical assessments, and a color vision test
