Priority Responder - Albany

* While this position is remote, local travel in Albany, NY is required. To be considered for this role, you must live within 5 minutes of Albany, NY.

Are you a firefighter or first responder? As a SERVPRO Team Skov Priority Responder, you will be at the forefront of our emergency response efforts. When disaster strikes, you'll be the first on the scene, providing critical support and selling our trusted restoration and reconstruction services to affected homeowners and businesses.

Pay: $20/hour

• Hourly pay while responding to fire or flood emergencies
• Uncapped commissions
• Cash bonuses

Responsibilities:

• This is a sales position and our Priority Responders promptly respond to fire/water emergencies as they are happening, 24/7/365
• Evaluate and assess the situation to find the decision maker and make contact
• Educate the property owner/decision maker on our restoration & reconstruction services in order to secure the sale
• Effectively communicate with dispatch and on-call team members to ensure a coordinated response
• Collaborate with other members of our sales team to ensure consistent communication and marketing efforts
• Provide support, comfort, and guidance to clients and their families during emergency situations

Qualifications:

• Firefighters and first responders with a passion for serving the community are encouraged to apply
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed

• Ability to remain composed and thrive in a high-pressure, chaotic environment
• Availability 24/7 to respond quickly to local emergencies

Job Type: Part time/On call
