Job Description - Privacy Project Coordinator - Immediate Start

We are a global technology consultancy and we are currently looking for a Privacy Project Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will provide support to cross-functional stakeholders, supporting and monitoring required privacy compliance actions to completion.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the global privacy landscape, experience collaborating with teams to recognize and close privacy cases, and be passionate about protecting the data privacy of our consumers, customers, and employees. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work across various roles in the organization, and strong experience in driving the implementation of privacy and compliance requirements throughout the business. The ability to manage multiple cases concurrently and communicate factually and efficiently across a broad spectrum of stakeholders is critical to this position.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of privacy, security issues, processes, and policies.
  • Coordinate with program managers, security analysts, and department leads to follow up on case status, and manage cases to completion.
  • Track progress, identify bottlenecks, adjust project roadmaps, schedule, and close tasks.
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve issues.
  • Prepare documents ensuring they have appropriate headers/footers and are in a format supported by our internal tools.
  • Support in the Quality Analysis of privacy documentation.
  • Manage and update team trackers.
  • Upload prepared files and documents.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis, in collaboration with XFN teams, to identify reasons for missing commitments and support the remediation process.
  • Collaborate with product XFN teams to determine if commitments are not being met or are missing.
  • Review, assess, and conduct a Commitment gap analysis to drive and facilitate legal and XFN review as needed.
Qualifications:
  • 3-6 years of experience in privacy and/or project coordination.
  • Someone who delivers "Detail oriented" work that can stand up to scrutiny, that is factually sound and reliable.
  • Experience with GRC.
  • Passion for "thinking administratively" concerning privacy tasks with the ability to foresee the whole impact and devise a process that is stable and repeatable.
  • Excellent organizational and written skills.
  • Possess a can-do attitude and be committed to working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Exceptional client service and personal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to write clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to apply privacy principles to organizational requirements (relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation).
  • Experience with legal background/processes is beneficial.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
  • Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
