The opportunity

We are looking for hungry and ambitious reporters to cover the secretive world of private credit. We want people who recognize a hot lead, have the tenacity to pursue it, and the writing skills to tell it to our readers - and leave them wanting more.

You'll build a network of sources, embed yourself in the market and sniff out the agenda-setting scoops and analysis that keep 9fin ahead of the competition. If you enjoy digging up information and telling people why it matters, this is the job for you.

What you'll work on

• Identify sources and build relationships
• Report and write compelling news and feature stories
• Develop a strong command of the corporate credit world
• Navigate biases and have a strong obligation to the truth

• Competitive Salary: $100,000-$140,000 (depending on experience)
