Job Description - Private Duty Nurse (Quadriplegic Patient)


Day and Night Shifts Available – 12-Hour Shifts
Top Dollar + $1500 sign-on bonus potential

NurseCore is seeking a nurse to provide skilled home care for an adult quadriplegic male patient in the Northwest, Centennial Hills area.

The patient requires tube feeding, ventilator, and tracheostomy care. G-tube experience is required. Training for ventilator and tracheostomy care can be provided.

This role requires the ability to safely lift and transfer the patient in and out of bed, wheelchair, and vehicle, as it demands physical strength and stamina. Professional, polished appearance is expected. Nails should not be long or pointed to safely manage the physical demands of patient care.

The ideal candidate is patient, adaptable, and skilled at building trust, maintaining professionalism, and providing consistent, respectful care in a home environment with varying routines and client preferences.

Requirements:
  • Active RN or LPN nursing license in Nevada
  • At least one year of post-grad experience 
  • Experience with G-tubes 
  • Physical strength to safely lift and transfer patient
  • Current hands-on CPR certification
  • Negative TB results within the last 12 months
  • Successful completion of a background check
