Now Hiring – PRN Immunizing Pharmacist for our Lawrence, KS Location to work from during flu season.

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy – We provide specialized care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the United States. We have been providing long-term care pharmacy services since 2007, but we originated as part of our independent retail pharmacy, Tarrytown Pharmacy, which has been serving the local community since 1941. Through our dedication to provide excellence to our customers, we have grown from a small independent pharmacy to a multi-state long-term care pharmacy solution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure Patient Safety during all vaccine clinics.
• Follow all Pharmacy Professional Practice and Regulatory Requirements
• Quality Assurance
• Customer Service, represent TTE onsite and facilitate any accommodations requested by clients.
• Personnel Management of any support technicians assigned to vaccine clinics.
• Inventory Management of all provided vaccines.
• All other duties as assigned by Pharmacist-in-Charge

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Our PRN team member will work 6–8 hours per day, ideally 2–3 days per week, covering about 2 clinics within a one-hour driving distance. Mileage is reimbursed, and availability Monday–Friday is required. 
• Must possess a KS State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA)
• Current CPR certification Positive personality who is able to work well within a team
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Can de-escalate and troubleshoot problems within the pharmacy

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to withstand long hours of computer screen time and deskwork
• Must be able to stand/be on feet for duration of an eight (8) hour shift
