Job Description - PRN Inpatient Nursing Assistant

Astera Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a passion to be part of the Inpatient Nursing (Med/Surg) team. Inpatient Nursing Assistants are primarily responsible for providing direct patient care on the Med/Surg floor in coalition with the Registered Nurses and Providers, and are considered vital in our workflow processes as they directly care for our patients.

This position is for a PRN/casual status in the inpatient unit.

Some responsibilities of the Inpatient Nursing Assistant include, but are not limited to the following:

Observing and reporting patient data

Performing patient care and assistance

Ensuring applicable patient and family needs are met

Taking patient records

Maintaining patient care supplies

Education and experience required:

Nurse’s Aide Technical Training or Certification - preferred

Maintain active BLS certification

Pay or shift range: $19.70 USD to $29.54 USD
