Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm!

Coeur D' Alene of Cascadia is seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide person-centered nursing care and treatment. Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and assist with care as directed, consistent with your scope of practice and competency.
  • Initiate the SBAR process and collaborate with the RN for assessment and recommendations.
  • Make rounds with physicians and other team members as needed.
  • Participate in resident evaluation and care planning activities, reviewing and revising assessments and care plans.
  • Coordinate residents' care activities and communicate changes to other team members and resident families.
  • Oversee Medication Aide/Tech in medication/treatment administration, where applicable.
  • Administer treatments and assist with emergencies, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
  • Document care performed and observations of resident status in the clinical record promptly.
  • Participate in medication management to promote optimal safety and effectiveness for residents.
  • Complete clinical admission paperwork for new admissions.
  • Assist consultants during visits and follow up on recommendations.
  • Communicate and implement pharmacy review/drug regime review recommendations.
  • Assist with clinical discharge processes and other clinical care services within scope of practice.

Requirements:

  • All employees must pass state-specific background checks before contact with patients/residents.
  • Must be willing to pick up shifts at needed by facility.

Requirements

Education

  • Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing.

Licenses/Certification

  • Current valid LPN license in the state employed.
  • Valid CPR certification

Experience

  • Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
