PRN Medical Assistant Mohs (WSO)

QualDerm Partners is currently seeking a PRN Medical Assistant for our Mohs Surgery team in Winston Salem, NC. In this role, as a PRN Medical Assistant specifically focused on Mohs Surgery, you will provide crucial support to our dermatology team and ensure that patients receive exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care. Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist patients undergoing Mohs surgery, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
• Assist the surgical team during procedures and ensure all necessary instruments and materials are readily available.
• Manage and maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to surgical procedures.
• Educate patients on pre-operative and post-operative care instructions and answer their questions.
• Provide exceptional care and support to patients throughout their surgical experience.
• Ensure medical and surgical rooms are clean, organized, and equipped with necessary supplies.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and smooth patient flow.

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting, with an emphasis on dermatology or surgical assisting preferred.
• Familiarity with Mohs surgery procedures and related terminology is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and standard office software.
