PRN Occupational Therapist

What You'll Do:

As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll take the lead in evaluating patients, developing customized treatment plans, and guiding them through therapeutic interventions that restore function and daily living skills. You’ll collaborate with families, interdisciplinary teams, and COTAs to create holistic, effective care strategies that truly make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct patient assessments to determine functional capabilities and rehab needs
Develop and administer personalized treatment plans with measurable, achievable goals
Lead and supervise COTAs and Rehab Aides to deliver effective, compassionate care
Educate patients and families on therapy techniques, tools, and home care strategies
Actively participate in care planning, team meetings, and case management
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
Foster strong relationships with staff, patients, and families through clear, empathetic communication

What You Bring:

Current OT license in Montana
Excellent clinical, communication, and leadership skills
Passion for person-centered care and functional rehabilitation
Ability to effectively supervise and collaborate with support staff
Commitment to professionalism, punctuality, and confidentiality

Qualifications

Education:  

Must have graduated from an accredited school of occupational therapy.

Licenses/Certification:  

Current state license as an Occupational Therapist.

Current CPR certification.

Experience: 

Six months experience in a long term care environment preferred.
