PRN Registered Nurse - Emergency Dept - (RN)

Job Overview

As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) at Deaconess Gibson, you’ll provide compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency setting where clinical skill, quick thinking, and teamwork make all the difference. You’ll care for patients of all ages and acuity levels, helping stabilize, treat, and support individuals and families during some of their most critical moments.

In this role, you’ll deliver direct patient care while also coordinating care plans, supervising care provided by others, and ensuring patients and families receive clear education and support throughout their visit.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver skilled, patient-centered care in a busy Emergency Department


• Assess patients and respond rapidly to changes in condition using strong clinical judgment


• Supervise and coordinate nursing care within the ED team


• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care


• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families


• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, effective treatment

Required:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or a compact licensure state

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)


• Previous Emergency Department experience
