Pro Shop Attendant - Competitive Pay

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Shop Assistant to join our team. As a Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting with various tasks in the Racquets Pro Shop. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a retail environment and has a passion to interact with club members/customers.

Duties:
- Greet customers and provide them with assistance
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information
- Place all transactions accurately in our Point of Sale System (Attention to details is a must!)
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the racquets pro shop
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Assist with inventory management and restocking
- Upsell products to customers and promote special offers or promotions
- Assist customers with any pro shop and other racquet services when needed
- Provide support to the shop manager and Head of Tennis Professional as required

Experience:
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred
- Familiarity with the use of Point of Sale Systems, sales procedures and retail math
- Excellent communication skills in both English
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products effectively
- Knowledge of racquets sports are preferred, or willingness to learn about the racquets industry.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
