Job Description - Probate & Estate Administration Attorney

The Staff Pad has partnered with a growing, client -focused law firm to identify a Probate Attorney to support their expanding caseload in the Austin market. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced probate attorney seeking a full -time role with a collaborative, reputable, and growing legal team.

Position Overview

This role will focus on handling probate matters from start to finish, providing legal guidance, drafting documents, and supporting clients through the probate process. The firm is seeking an attorney who can work independently, manage a robust caseload, and deliver exceptional client service while contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage probate cases from inception through resolution, including both independent and dependent administrations
  • Draft, review, and file probate pleadings, applications, motions, and related legal documents
  • Advise clients regarding estate administration, probate timelines, and legal requirements
  • Represent clients in probate proceedings and court appearances as needed
  • Communicate effectively with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and internal team members
  • Maintain compliance with Texas probate laws, regulations, and court procedures
  • Manage case deadlines and ensure timely progression of matters
  • Collaborate with firm leadership and support staff to provide an exceptional client experience

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in the State of Texas
  • 5+ years of probate experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Texas probate law, court procedures, and estate administration
  • Ability to independently manage a full caseload
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time -management abilities
  • Client -focused mindset with a commitment to providing high -quality legal services
