Description
 
QC Kinetix is the premiere regenerative medical practice in the United States, with over 150 clinics currently open. Our goal is to help patients with arthritis, sports related injuries and chronic joint pain, without the use of surgery, steroids, or pain meds! 
 
We are currently looking for a qualified Procedure Specialists at our Western Michigan locations to help with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations to assess patient needs, order and interpret diagnostic results to formulate and prescribe treatment plans. The procedure specialist must be a licensed and certified Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Michigan. 
 
The selected candidate(s) must be able to travel to Charlotte, NC for training on all procedures.  All travel expenses for training will be reimbursed.  Initial Schedule is 1-2 days per week, for a total of 4-8 days a month. $450 per day with the chance for bonuses for the right candidate.  Opportunity for 3-4 days of coverage per week after onboarding.
 

Job Duties and Responsibilities
 
First, does no harm to the patients of QC Kinetix. Upholds the highest standards of moral and ethical behavior and adheres to the QC Kinetix mission statement, at all times. 
 
Ability to perform all appropriate physical exams to diagnose musculoskeletal pathologies commonly associated with sports medicine or orthopedic exams.
 
Currently has or the ability to obtain a comprehensive knowledge of all conditions treated at QC Kinetix, what treatments are needed to address each condition, and the skills needed to perform the individual procedures for each treatment. 
 
Sees all new patients after intake paperwork has been filled out; obtains an accurate history and physical exam of each new patient at QC Kinetix, including subjective information, objective information, an assessment, and a plan.
 
Reviews patient records when applicable, including but not limited to, operation reports, radiology reports, and other provider notes. 
 
Orders and interprets appropriate imaging studies when needed to aid in diagnosing the condition of the patients at QC Kinetix.
 
Coordinates with supervising physician with any questions or concerns regarding pathologies to be treated or treatment plan for specific pathologies. 
 
Reviews treatment plan for each new patient with consultation coordinator.
 
Performs all treatments (joint injections) for established patients under care in an outpatient setting.
 
Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate based on medical conditions. 
 
Refers patients to specialists and other relevant patient care components as appropriate.
 
Follows established QC Kinetix policies, procedures, and objectives.
 
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
 
Must be trained at the QCK Medical Training in Charlotte, NC.  All travel expenses will be reimbursed.
 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
 
Knowledge and belief in the potential of regenerative therapies to help patients avoid surgery.
 
Excellent bed side manner.


Ability to read and interpret X-rays and MRIs.


Joint injections in an out-patient setting.
 
Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage. 


Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care. 


Ability to observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress.


Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. 


Ability to work both independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment. 


Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.



Required licensing and experience:
 
2-year clinical experience required.


Must have an active medical license in the state of Michigan.


Specialty in Pain Management, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine is preferred.


Experience administering joint injections in an out-patient setting.


BMAC experience a plus.



Compensation: $400.00 - $500.00 per day
